Tuesday 3rd July: an unfortunate accident

thankfully no-one was seriously injured.
Thanks to everyone who turned up when the call went
out and helped to clear up - we now have another
marquee all ready for the arriving models.

Almost every NI Club contributed to our JWM2007 fund raising draw and we
received this from the JWM organisers:
"On behalf of the whole
organising committee of the 7th World Jet Masters, express our sincere thanks
for the generous donation from
the Kestrels Model Flying Club as a result of your raffle.
As Im sure you can imagine organising an event
of this magnitude is not easy and there are many trials and tribulations along the way.
Sometimes we wonder if it is all worth it! However when a gesture such as this is received
we realise that there are many aeromodellers
out there who are looking forward to the event and are wishing us well with the
preparations. This gives us great encouragement.
Thank you once again for your support it is very much
appreciated." |
