 | Friday 28th September |
| Omagh MFC Auction - a good turnout and Adrian
did an excellent job as auctioneer.
Almost everyone brought something to sell and
joined in the fun which got more lively after 9pm.
Some indoor flying took place while the financial
matters were sorted out - well done once again
to the Omagh Club for a well organised evening.
This was Dick's glider (mind your head please!)
going under the hammer.

organised by NWMAC.
The day started out with heavy rain but that didn't
deter a group gathering to compete - and
scoff the burgers from the barbeque.
The rain stopped and three rounds of competition
with fun flying in between rounds and afterwards.

A great day with a gentle breeze straight down the runway,
and possibly the biggest model turnout to a fly-in this year!
Electric and IC aircraft, helicopters and jets flew all day with queues for the
flightline.
Thanks to Seamus for the photograph, this was only half
of the aircraft there. |

 |
Ken and Davy had a lot of questions to answer. |
A crowd gathered along the fence for every
flight.
We were presented with a very nice brass plaque
and this letter arrived afterwards:
'On behalf of NW Fermanagh Vintage Club, thank you
for coming along and doing the model aircraft display.
The day was a great success.
This year all proceeds are going to MS.' |

Here's Derk van der Vecht, the (crazy) Dutch indoor

He flew a shocky to music and astonished us with
his precision aerobatics - this is the way to go!
Paul Heckles gave us an excellent helicopter display.
Thanks to our local indoor people for bringing plenty of
models to share with the visitors. |
